With over 650km of slopes, guaranteed snow, and a buzzing nightlife, Morzine is the perfect place for a skiing or snowboarding holiday. Situated on the border between France and Switzerland, Morzine can boast Europe's largest ski area with 12 stations and a huge variety of slopes. There are over a hundred catered ski chalets in Morzine, and a wide variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants where you can kick back after a hard day on the slopes. Also, there are some ski chalets in Morzine that are situated right next to the slopes, which means you can ski all the way to your front door. And if you fancy a spot of night skiing, there are several floodlit slopes where you can do just that. Although Morzine sits at a fairly moderate altitude, it is the most Northerly ski resort in the French Alps, which ensures that it gets much more snow than other mid-altitude resorts.
