The Skiing in Banff - Lake Louise: The Banff ski area comprises three different resorts; Mount Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. Each resort has a huge amount of skiing available and caters for all levels, with long, gentle blues to steep, challenging blacks. A single ski pass will give you access to all three ski areas, with over 7,700 acres of skiable terrain.
With wide, open bowls and un-crowded, tree-lined runs, you will not be disappointed with a trip to Banff. The snow here is reliable and you'll often find yourself skiing on freshly-groomed pistes. And just to make sure you won't go without, Banff also has the latest in snowmaking technology available.
For the beginners there are plenty of blue and green runs. The ski schools are of high quality and there are plenty to choose from.
For the intermediates there are some fantastic bowls higher up the mountains and lots of reliable snow covered pistes.
For the more advanced, there are plenty of parks, halfpipes, and challenging black runs. There's even some powdery off-piste for those who fancy it.
